A Mosta firm with five vans and one standard.
Aqwa started in 2009 with one van on Triq il-Kbira. Today we're eleven people, all employed directly, all trained the same way: price it honestly, fix it properly, photograph everything.

Ray Camilleri
Founder, master plumber
Started Aqwa from one van in 2009 after twelve years on hotel plant rooms. Still does the trickiest leak hunts himself.
Daniel Vella
Licensed gas installer
Looks after every gas connection and safety record. If your cooker smells of gas, Daniel is the one who answers.
Luke Farrugia
Bathroom project lead
Runs every refit from survey to handover, and sends the end-of-day photo updates.
Kurt Borg
Heaters and pumps
Our specialist in water heaters, solar systems, pressure pumps and RO filters. Spends most of his summer on rooftops.

Stocked so the first visit is the last.
Each van carries around 600 parts, restocked every evening from our Mosta store. That's why nine in ten jobs finish on the first visit.

Who will actually turn up?
One of our own employed plumbers, never a subcontractor. You get their name and photo by text when they're 20 minutes away.
Are your gas installers licensed?
Yes. Every gas connection is made or signed off by an installer licensed by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services, and you receive a signed gas safety record.
What does the 12-month guarantee cover?
Our workmanship and every part we supply. If something we fitted fails within a year, we come back and fix it free, including the call-out.
Do you work in apartment blocks with shared tanks?
Often. We'll coordinate with the block administrator if the job touches the shared roof tank, pump or riser, and photograph everything for the common-parts records.
Do you speak Maltese?
Iva, naturally. The whole team speaks Maltese and English, and Daniel also speaks Italian.
Water through the ceiling? Smell gas?
Our emergency van covers Malta day and night, Gozo by the next ferry. Shut the main stopcock (usually beside the meter or under the kitchen sink), then call.
If you smell gas: close the cylinder valve, open windows and doors, don't touch switches or light anything, and call from outside.
