Standard weekday visits on the main island. Same-day visits are 25% more, flexible bookings 5% less.

Call-out fees and paying
Straight answers about money.
Is there a call-out fee?
Not for standard visits anywhere on the main island. The prices you see include the plumber's travel and the first half hour of diagnosis.
Emergency visits (within 90 minutes, any time of day) carry a €40 call-out, which we tell you on the phone before the van leaves. Gozo visits add €35 to cover the ferry and travel.
What if the job turns out bigger than the estimate?
The plumber explains what they found, shows you photos, and gives you a fixed price before doing anything more. If you'd rather not go ahead, you pay only the €45 inspection fee, and that's waived if you book the work within 14 days.
Do prices include VAT and parts?
Yes. Every range on this page is parts and labour including 18% VAT. The only exception is when you choose premium sanitaryware or a specific brand of heater, which we quote separately.
Do you charge more for evenings, Sundays or public holidays?
Planned work is Monday to Saturday only. Evenings, Sundays and festa days are emergency visits, priced with the emergency option in the estimator.
How do I pay?
Card or contactless on the day, bank transfer, or BOV Mobile Pay. Bathroom refits are paid in three stages: deposit, after first fix, and on handover.
How accurate is the estimator?
The range covers about nine in ten of the jobs we did last year for that type of work. Older buildings with hidden pipe runs sometimes land at the top end. You'll always know the final price before work starts.
Water through the ceiling? Smell gas?
Our emergency van covers Malta day and night, Gozo by the next ferry. Shut the main stopcock (usually beside the meter or under the kitchen sink), then call.
If you smell gas: close the cylinder valve, open windows and doors, don't touch switches or light anything, and call from outside.
